Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup sliced celery
3 cups beef broth
3 cups water
1 can diced tomatoes with juice
1/2 cup rice
1/4 cup ketchup
1 bay leaf
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves
Directions:
Brown beef with onion. Drain well. Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer 25-30 mins or until vegetables and rice are tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
